The National Infection Teams Collaborative for Audit and Research

NITCAR aims to facilitate regional and supra-regional audits, service evaluations and research within the field of infection.

We primarily work with infection trainees, but welcome enthusiasts across all disciplines, including clinical scientists, pharmacists, IPC nurses and medical students.

NITCAR is able to help with:

  1. Developing a project idea, including advice on study design, usefulness and feasibility
  2. Publicising the project to a large network of infection clinicians to enable multi-centre data collection
  3. Advising on data analysis and statistical methods
  4. Helping with publication and fair authorship policies

The website has information on past and current projects. Please get in touch if you have a project to discuss, and don’t forget to sign up to our mailing list to be kept informed of upcoming projects and other events related to research within the field of infection.
